O'Malley Picks Feldman To Replace Garagiola In Md. Senate
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Gov. Martin O'Malley has appointed Delegate Brian Feldman to the state Senate.
The governor announced the appointment on Thursday to fill a vacancy created by the resignation of Sen. Rob Garagiola, who represented District 15 in Montgomery County.
Feldman, a Democrat, has represented Montgomery County in the House of Delegates since 2003.
Feldman has served as a member of the House Economic Matters Committee. He also served as chair of the Montgomery County House Delegation from 2007 to 2012.
Feldman is a tax attorney who has served as senior counsel for Kundra & Associates. He also is an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University.
