O'Malley To Hold Discussion On Chesapeake Bay
EASTON, Md. (AP) -- Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley is holding a discussion on how Chesapeake Bay restoration efforts play a role in the economy.
O'Malley will be in Easton on Thursday to focus on the Choptank River as part of Maryland's Bay Restoration and Watershed Implementation Plan.
The discussion with stakeholders in environmental protection and water quality is part of a series of forums the governor is holding around the state that focus on creating jobs.
The governor plans to talk about how a cleaner Chesapeake Bay affects the state's ability to perform well economically.
