O'Malley Headed To Presidential Debate
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Gov. Martin O'Malley is headed to Denver to cheer on President Barack Obama in his first presidential debate with Mitt Romney.
O'Malley spoke to reporters Wednesday in Annapolis before making the trip out West.
The Maryland governor says he's looking forward to watching Obama press the former Massachusetts governor about the best way to improve the nation's economy.
O'Malley will be part of a team that will be talking about the debate afterward, and he says he's honored to be a part of it.
He has often appeared on television to speak out in support of the president. O'Malley is also head of the Democratic Governors Association.
