Officials Ponder Beaver Damage At Salisbury Park
SALISBURY, Md. (AP) -- Officials in Salisbury are considering how to deal with damage beavers apparently are causing in Salisbury City Park.
Dozens of knocked-down trees with clearly visible teeth marks around their trunks can be seen along the river bank in the park. The beavers have not been sighted because they are nocturnal animals.
WBOC-TV reports that Animal Control officials are seeking advice from the Maryland Department of Natural Resources on how to deal with the beavers.
