Officials Offering Reflective Safety Vests For Halloween
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Officials in Maryland are offering reflective safety vests to Halloween trick-or-treaters and their parents and guardians.
The Maryland State Highway Administration says the vests are intended to make the trick-or-treaters and their chaperones easier for motorists to spot as they go about gathering candy.
Officials will offer the vests beginning Thursday. The vests are free but must be returned by Nov. 4. The vests will be available in most counties at maintenance facilities.
