Officials Ask For Help To Solve Slain Teacher Case
BALTIMORE (AP) -- The Anne Arundel county branch of the NAACP is joining county police in seeking out information to solve the shooting death of a retired schoolteacher in a Glen Burnie shopping center parking lot.
The Baltimore Sun reports that on Monday evening, the organization will hold a gathering in the parking lot, located in the 7300-block of Ritchie Highway, where the body of Myra Cason was found inside her vehicle on Jan. 28.
Police detectives will hand out fliers and will seek information from the public about the incident.
Authorities previously said they believed robbery was the motive. In January, investigators believed the killer was in the car with Cason and forced her to drive to the parking lot before she was shot.
