Obama To Visit CIA Headquarters To Thank Workers
WASHINGTON (AP) -- The White House says President Barack Obama will visit CIA headquarters in Langley, Va., on Friday to thank employees there for their work in tracking down Osama bin Laden.
The visit will come a day after Obama delivers a broad speech at the State Department on Middle East policy in a post-bin Laden world.
A White House spokesman says the president wants to personally thank America's intelligence community for their work keeping the country safe and for the years of effort that went into tracking down bin Laden in Pakistan, where Navy SEALS found and killed him earlier this month.
