Obama To Host Military Dads, Kids At White House
WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama is observing Father's Day a bit ahead of schedule, hosting military fathers and their children for an early look at the Disney/Pixar movie "Cars 2" at the White House.
The president invited dozens of military men and their children Wednesday to screen the movie, which has not yet been released to the general public.
Obama said he wanted to thank service members and their families. He said he also was playing host as a dad himself.
He said he has been trying to "stress the importance of fatherhood" across the country.
