NSA Employee Pleads Guilty To Defrauding Agency
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Federal prosecutors say a NSA employee has pleaded guilty to defrauding the agency by allowing conspirators to steal recyclable metals.
Forty-four-year-old Robert Adcock of Parkville entered the plea on Tuesday. He will be sentenced on April 26.
According to his plea, Adcock was responsible for a waste removal contract at NSA, which stored some materials at Fort Meade.
When the Army wanted the space back, prosecutors say Adcock directed that the materials be taken to a Baltimore recycling firm.
Payments for those materials were diverted back to Adcock.
