Terry Ford: Now...About That Onside Kick
Lots of fans and media types are up in arms about Ravens head coach John Harbaugh calling for that onside kick last Sunday in Pittsburgh. Obviously everyone thinks it's a bad call...Because it didn't work! Why is Saints head coach Sean Peyton a genius for calling for that onside kick to start the second half in the Super Bowl a few years ago?...Because it worked!
Now About That Onside Kick
The Ravens didn't lose the game because of the onside kick. They lost because they couldn't stop the Steelers to get the ball back for the offense and when the offense had the ball they couldn't get into the end zone until late in the 4th quarter.
