No Yellow Line Service On D.C. Metro This Weekend
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Metro says there will be no yellow line train service this weekend, and buses will replace trains on a section of the green line.
Metro says starting at 10 p.m. Friday night and continuing through system closing on Sunday there will be no yellow line service. A shuttle train will operate between Huntington and Braddock Road only.
On the green line, free shuttle buses will replace trains between Archives and Navy Yard.
On the red and orange lines, some passengers will experience delays. On the orange line, trains will run every 20 minutes throughout the weekend. On the red line, trains will run every 16 minutes, and more frequently during the day between Farragut North and Silver Spring.
Blue line trains will operate at regular weekend intervals.
