No Ravens, No Problem, Here Are 3 Things To Watch This Sunday
The Ravens give their four-game losing streak a rest this Sunday as they lick their many and assorted wounds and try to heal up for the remaining nine games on their schedule.
It'll be an uphill battle with road games in Dallas, New England, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati. They'll jump right back into it next week coming back with home games against Pittsburgh and Cleveland in a span of just five days.
With the Ravens idle, this might be a good Sunday to catch up on raking that huge pile of leaves in the yard or adding the finishing touches to your Donald Trump Halloween costume but it'll probably wind up on like all the other Fall Sunday's with you parked in front of your TV watching endless hours of football until your eyes bleed.
You can start at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday morning with the Redskins and Bengals from Wembley Stadium in London. The Bengals at 3-4 are tied with the Ravens for second place in the AFC North the Redskins (4-3) 4 game win streak ended last Sunday with a 20-17 loss in Detroit.
Sunday's best:
NEW ENGLAND (6-1) AT BUFFALO (4-3) 1:00 CBS
A Buffalo win here would tighten up the AFC East and give the Bills a 2016 New England sweep. In early October the Bills blanked the Pats 16-0 in Foxboro but that was BB (before Brady). Last year in Buffalo, Brady passed for 466 yards and 3 TD's in a 40-32 New England win. Rex Ryan is 4-11 against New England.
Vegas Says: Patriots by 6.
GREEN BAY (4-2) AT ATLANTA (4-3) 4:25 FOX
Key game for both teams with the Packers a game behind the Vikings and the Falcons with just a half game lead on Tampa Bay in the NFC South. Matt Ryan is having a big season and will go to work on a Green Bay secondary that's missing their top 3 cornerbacks. The last time Ryan faced Green Bay he threw for 375 yards and 4 TD's. Julio Jones was on fire in that game with 11 catches for 259 yards and a touchdown. Aaron Rodgers broke out of his slump last week passing for 326 yards and 3 touchdowns in a win over the Bears.
Vegas Says: Falcons by 2.5
PHILADELPHIA (4-2) AT DALLAS (5-1) 8:30 NBC
Jerry's joint will be jumping Sunday night when the Eagles come to Big D. The rookie quarterbacks will be featured in this game. The Eagles Carson Wentz leads a good group of rookie QB's with 8 TD passes and has a solid rating of 92.7. Dallas rookie Dak Prescott has been terrific. He threw his first 176 passes without an interception and has had a quarterback rating of 100 or better in his last 5 games. We can't forget Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliot he's the first rookie in NFL history to rush for 130+ yards in 4 consecutive games. He has 703 rush yards in his first 6 career games, 2nd-most in NFL history (Eric Dickerson).
Vegas Says: Cowboys by 4.5
Try to pace yourself, that's about 15-hours of pretty good football Sunday. Enjoy!
