No Foul Play Suspected In Hagerstown Bathtub Drowning
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Hagerstown police say there is no immediate indication of foul play in the bathtub drowning of a 7-year-old boy.
Police Chief Mark Holtzman told The Herald-Mail on Friday that there was nothing suspicious at the scene. He says police are conducting a full investigation.
Officers were called to the 400-block of Summit Avenue on Thursday evening for a report of an unconscious child. They were told that Nicodemus Kemp had been taking a bath and was found unresponsive in the bathtub by his father.
He was pronounced dead at Meritus Medical Center.
