No Charges For Elderly Md. Man After Wife's Death
CATONSVILLE, Md. (AP) -- The death of an 86-year-old Baltimore County woman has been ruled a homicide, but authorities aren't bringing any charges against her elderly husband.
Police say the woman injured her hip March 12 after her 92-year-old husband pushed her out of his way so he could walk to church. The woman told police she was worried about her husband and didn't want him going to church alone since he suffers from dementia. She said he didn't intend to hurt her.
The woman died from complications from her injuries at a hospital on March 15, and the medical examiner's office ruled the death a homicide.
Baltimore County prosecutors were referred the case but say no charges will be filed.
