No Charges In Case Against Hopkins OBGYN Accused Of Recording Patients
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Authorities conclude the investigation into the Johns Hopkins gynecologist suspected of recording patients during exams.
According to WJZ's media partner, The Baltimore Sun, no criminal charges will be filed in the case.
Dr. Nikita Levy committed suicide in February 2013 after allegations surfaced he used a camera on a pen to record exams at Johns Hopkins' East Baltimore Medical Center.
So far, nearly 4,000 patients have joined a class action lawsuit, contending Johns Hopkins was negligent in its oversight of Levy.
Hopkins has been involved in settlement negotiations and has not admitted any wrongdoing.
