NICK MARKAKIS JOINS BOB AND GLENN
Orioles outfielder Nick Markakis joined Sports Rehab with Glenn Younes and Bob Haynie to discuss Spring Training and the 2014 Orioles season.
The O's right fielder is coming off a disappointing 2013 campaign where he batted just .271 with 10 homers and 59 RBI's. Markakis has battled injuries the past two season. Late in the 2012 season, he suffered a broken wrist after being hit with a pitch by Yankees starter CC Sabathia. "Its been a rough couple years. Somewhere along in your career, you're going tot have bumps. Hopefully my bumps are out of the way and I can focus on playing healthy baseball."
The Orioles open the 2014 season on March 31st against the Boston Red Sox.
