New Report On AACO School Bus Driver Shortage Suggests Bus Driver Pay Increase, Route Consolidation
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD. (WJZ) — Anne Arundel County officials are working to solve a bus driver shortage after the county was about 20 drivers short for this school year.
A new report includes more than two dozen recommendations to address transportation issues.
It includes increasing bus driver pay and consolidating routes.
Officials said it could save nearly $2.5 million and improve operations system-wide.
