NCIS Set To Feature City Police Dept. Re-creations
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Baltimore police say re-creations of the department's offices and buildings may set the background for an episode of the police drama NCIS.
In the episode airing Tuesday night, character Anthony "Tony" DiNozzo's former partner appears to be the latest victim of the Port-to-Port killer. DiNozzo recalls his past as a Baltimore police detective and his first encounter with Leroy Jethro Gibbs.
Producers contacted the department's public affairs section looking for photos of buildings and offices to recreate them on set. Department spokesman Anthony Guglielmi says they shared photos of the various buildings, the homicide and communications unit offices, interrogation rooms and cell blocks.
