'NCIS Los Angeles' To Premiere With A Bang. Literally
BALTIMORE (WJZ)—"NCIS Los Angeles" returns Monday night for season six, and it starts with a bang. Literally.
Linh Bui talked to stars LL Cool J and Chris O'Donnell about the premiere.
They promise an action packed season, beginning with the very first episode.
Season five ended with a cliffhanger. The L.A. team had just uncovered a cartel's plan to transport billions of dollars' worth of cocaine using a submarine.
In a race against time, the NCIS LA team is in deep trouble.
That runaway sub is filled with explosives, and terrorists have aimed it at an aircraft carrier in San Diego.
In the season premiere of "NCIS Los Angeles," the team must stop the attack and save their agents.
Bui: "This premiere tonight is high stakes, high drama. You guys are on a sub that might explode! Can you talk about this dramatic episode?"
LL Cool J: "You know, we spent a lot of time in the water together. It was crazy. It was claustrophobic. Sometimes the water was freezing. Sometimes it was burning hot. It was crazy. It was a wild experience."
O'Donnell: "It wasn't our average week at work. The sets they built. This giant tank of water. And the submarine. We were filming this stuff in the water. It was really amazing."
Bui: "Drama on the job and drama between the people. So we got both covered!"
LL Cool J: "A lot of interesting, revealing things happen to the characters. You find out about some vulnerabilities. They have some frailties. Some romantic interests come in. It gets interesting."
The action will leave you holding your breath, too.
Will the team save Sam and Cal in time? Tune in to find out.
Catch the season six premiere of "NCIS Los Angeles" at 10 p.m. only on WJZ.
