"Wow, look at that, it's a tornado!" a witness said.
Indeed it was. The National Weather Service now confirms a tornado slammed into Ocean City Thursday. Numerous WJZ viewers caught the EF-0 on their cell phone cameras.
It packed winds between 60 and 70 miles an hour.
"I was stunned. I have never seem one develop in front of my eyes before," said one person.
The tornado damaged a few buildings around 75th Street and it ripped off huge parts of the roof at the Ocean Villas.
