Multi-Vehicle Accident Shuts Down I-695
BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- Five people have been transported to local hospitals after a multi-vehicle accident on the inner loop of Interstate 695.
Twelve Baltimore County emergency crews were on scene and all lanes were blocked near the Washington Blvd. exit. Traffic was diverted to Route 1.
Highway officials tell WJZ that at least six cars were involved in the accident.
There is also a possible fluid leak reported and debris in the roadway.
One person was taken to Shock Trauma and 4 other patients were taken to St. Agnes.
