MTA To Resume Bus Service, Reopen Baltimore Subway
BALTIMORE (AP) -- The Maryland Transit Administration plans to resume full service after finding little damage from superstorm Sandy on its rail lines.
Spokesman Terry Owens says Light Rail, MARC Train, and Commuter Bus will resume on Wednesday. Limited service had resumed Tuesday afternoon.
Owens says there was no major flooding or damage to the transit system. Local Bus had 9 percent of its fleet on line within a few hours of going back in service on Tuesday.
