MTA Driver Behind Bars After Allegedly Stabbing Passenger
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- An MTA driver is behind bars, accused of knifing a passenger on board a bus in Baltimore County.
MTA says the driver got in a fight over bus fare with a passenger on Eastern Avenue in Dundalk. At some point during the argument, police say 28-year-old Brian Marshall stabbed the passenger.
The 44-year-old victim was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
Marshall finished his route instead of reporting the incident immediately, another violation of MTA policy.
Marshall was taken into custody shortly after. He's now being held at the Baltimore City Detention Center.
Marshall is charged with attempted murder and assault, among other charges.
