More Evaluations For Man Charged In Md. Carjacking
ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) -- A Maryland judge has ordered more psychiatric evaluations for a man accused in a carjacking earlier this month.
Terron A. White is charged with carjacking a woman in Baltimore.
The woman survived by jumping onto the Capital Beltway with her baby in her arms. Neither the woman now her 20-month-old son suffered serious injuries.
White, of Baltimore, has already been seen by one doctor, and he agreed at a hearing in Montgomery County on Friday to undergo additional evaluations.
The Washington Post reports that White is expected to go to the Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center in Jessup, where doctors will decide if he is competent to stand trial.
White, 22, is charged with kidnapping, assault and vehicle theft.
