More Charges Filed In Fatal Metro Stabbing
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Police in Washington say more charges are being filed in connection with a fatal stabbing at a Metro station.
Police say a 17-year-old charged with murder has also been charged with aggravated assault and a robbery charge related to the second stabbing victim, who survived. Police say eight other juvenile males charged in the case also are facing the additional charges.
Police say they were called to the Woodley Park station Saturday morning around 1 a.m. where they found the stabbing victims. Police identified the man who died as Olijawon Griffin, 18, of Olney, Md.
Police say Griffin was robbed several blocks from the Metro station and later got into an altercation with the robbery suspects at the Metro station.
