Woman Arrested For Involvement In Viral Video Of Two Girls Fighting
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A woman has been arrested after a video circulated on social media went viral of two teen girls fighting in a school parking lot in Glen Burnie.
Anne Arundel County Police say they responded to an address in Glen Burnie in regard to an assault that occurred after school hours near Cromwell Elementary School.
Police say officers learned that two young girls agreed to meet at the location to fight. In the video, the two can be seen in the video hitting and punching each other, when one of the girls' mothers can be instigating the fight and kicking the other girl in the head.
A report was filed and the case was immediately turned over to the Northern District Detective Unit.
According to investigators, detectives identified and charged the two girls as well as the mother on Friday, May 19.
Police say the two girls were both charged with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct, and for public fighting.
The mother, 43-year-old Delores Klemkowski, was charged with two counts of first-degree assault, one count of second-degree assault, disorderly conduct, and public fighting, police say.
Additional charges against other parties are still being investigated.
