MLB Interested In Taking Teams To London Too
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Commissioner Rob Manfred is going to try and make Major League Baseball more global. There is a deal to have games stream in China and some spring training could happen in Mexico City. So now, Manfred wants to try and have some regular-season baseball in London, possibly as soon as 2017.
The games would be held at Olympic Stadium, which was built for the 2012 London Olympics and could likely house upwards of 54,000 fans, depending upon how they'd would reconfigure for a baseball diamond.
