Minor Flooding In Port Deposit As Susquehanna Crests
REISTERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- The town of Port Deposit in Maryland is experiencing some minor flooding as a result of high river waters caused by recent rains and melting snow.
Amy Crabill, deputy director of Cecil County's emergency services department, says the Susquehanna River crested around 3 p.m. on Saturday and caused some minor flooding, with water in backyards and basements.
The waters were expected to continue to recede on Sunday.
