Midshipmen Testify In Sexual Assault Case
WASHINGTON (WJZ) -- Testimony continued Monday in the sexual assault hearing of three U.S. Naval Academy football players accused of raping a fellow midshipman at a party.

Monday, several students took the stand. Their testimony mostly focused on the accuser's condition at the party and the next day.
The hearing for three U.S. Naval Academy football players accused of sexually assaulting a fellow female midshipman continued Monday with testimony from other students. The players are accused of gang-raping the alleged victim at an off-campus party in 2012.
She previously spoke out to CBS News about what happened.
"I was drinking. I drank a lot and then, from that point on, I really don't remember what happened. I woke up the next morning with bruises and I knew something wasn't right," she said.
The hearing will determine whether the accused are charged and face a court-martial.
On the stand Monday, a student who described herself as the accuser's friend said the woman was drunk and disoriented at the party. When they talked the next day, the friend said the woman said, "What happened last night? Where am I?"
According to other testimony, the accuser told another student, "What I did last night, I did it and I wanted to do it."
But when asked about the statement, the student said he did not remember relaying it to investigators.
Last week, the accuser spent several days on the stand. Proceedings came to a halt Saturday after she said she was too exhausted to testify. Things picked back up on Sunday while, on the stand, the accuser again said she didn't remember the attack but learned what happened on social media and from the players themselves.
"I have outside witnesses. The attackers had bragged about it; they had told me to my face what they did," she said.
Late Monday afternoon, another friend of the accuser testified he saw her about 2 a.m. at the party and while she had been drinking, he did not believe she was drunk.
The accused are no longer on the football team. They have not testified or spoken publicly about the case.
