Mid-Atlantic Gas Price 3 Cents Down From Last Week
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Gas prices in the Mid-Atlantic region are down three cents from a week ago.
In its weekly report released Sunday, AAA says the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas is $3.53, down three cents from a week ago. The price is almost 30 cents lower than a year ago, when the price was $3.80.
The price of gas in the region is four cents lower than the national average. The national average Friday for a gallon of unleaded was $3.57, down two cents from a week ago.
The average price in the District of Columbia was $3.73, down four cents from a week ago. In Maryland, the average was $3.54, down a penny from a week ago. In Delaware the average was $3.55, down two cents.
