MGM To Host Businesses On Casino Proposal
UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) -- A subsidiary for MGM Resorts International is hosting two information sessions for Prince George's County businesses relating to MGM's proposal to build a casino at National Harbor.
The sessions are scheduled for Friday in Upper Marlboro.
The event will bring purchasing, construction and other company experts to Maryland to answer questions.
MGM is holding the event to give local business men and women an opportunity to speak face to face with MGM representatives about how potential partners can best prepare to work with MGM.
The company is competing against two other companies that are seeking a license to build a casino near the nation's capital. The state could issue a license by the end of the year.
