Metro Train Single Wheel Set Derails; No Injuries
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Officials say a single wheel set on a Metro train has derailed outside Rosslyn, Va.. There were no injuries and the train has been evacuated.
A Metro spokesman says it happened about 7 p.m. Tuesday on the blue line traveling between Franconia-Springfield and Largo Town Center. Trains on the blue and orange lines are single-tracking around the derailment and delays should be expected.
