Metro Plans Weekend Track Work On 3 Lines
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Metro is planning weekend track work on the red, orange and blue lines, leading to delays of up to 20 minutes.
Metro says that beginning Friday at 10 p.m., red line trains will share a single track between Takoma and Forest Glen and
between Van Ness and Dupont Circle.
In addition, orange line trains will share a single track between Eastern Market and Cheverly. Blue line trains will
share a single track between Eastern Market and Addison Road.
No weekend track work is scheduled on the green or yellow lines.
