Metro Extends Hours For New Year's Revelers
WASHINGTON (AP) -- New Year's revelers will be able to make use of extended hours on Metro.
Metrorail stations will be open on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day from 7 a.m. to 3 a.m. The trains will be operating on a Sunday schedule each day. Metro says New Year's Day ridership is traditionally light.
Metrobuses also will be operating on a Sunday schedule.
