Md. Woman Wins $1,000 A Week In Va. Lottery Game
RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- A Maryland woman will receive $1,000 a week for the rest of her life after winning the Virginia Lottery's Win for Life game.
Wilma Washington of Waldorf, Md., is among five players who claimed lottery prizes on Monday.
The lottery says in a news release that Janice and Chip Gordon of Lottsburg won $1 million in the "Casino Royale" Scratcher game.
Marie Beeman of Ashburn, Beth Ann Ievers of Mineral and Adalberto Martinez of Manassas each won $100,000 prizes in other Scratcher games.
