Md. Woman Charged With Sex Assault Of Child
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- A Maryland woman has been charged with having sex with a friend's teenage son in Texas.
Karen Carstens, 41, of Riva was arrested Monday. She is charged in Harris County, Texas, with the sexual assault of a child under 17.
Court documents allege that Carstens had sex with the boy when he was 13 to 15.
The Capital of Annapolis reports that Carstens is being held in Anne Arundel County, awaiting extradition to Texas.
