Md. Subway Station Reopens After Death Probe
PIKESVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Maryland Transit Administration officials have reopened the Milford Mill subway station after police investigated the death of a man who jumped in front of an arriving train.
Based on observations by the train operator Sunday morning and onboard video cameras, MTA spokesman Terry Owens says officials believe the man's death was a suicide. Baltimore County police are conducting the investigation.
The station was closed for several hours and reopened around 5 p.m. Trains bypassed the station and shuttle buses carried passengers to neighboring stations.
Police have not released the man's identification, pending notification of next of kin.
