Md.'s Sen. Cardin On Health Care Of Western Md.
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- U.S. Sen. Ben Cardin is focusing on health care during visits to two western Maryland cities.
Cardin is holding a forum on the Affordable Health Care Act Monday morning in Cumberland.
At noon, Cardin speaks at a health care career expo he's sponsoring in Hagerstown.
Cardin cites a state study estimating Maryland will need more than 55,000 new health care workers by 2018.
The expo at Hagerstown Community College features more than 30 exhibitors, including career counselors and employers.
