Md. Roundtable Discussion On Domestic Violence
WASHINGTON (AP) -- A roundtable discussion in Prince George's County is addressing domestic violence in the area.
Prince George's County State's Attorney Angela Alsobrooks says she plans to attend the Thursday morning discussion at the county sheriff's office in Upper Marlboro.
She says the group will also include U.S. Sen. Ben Cardin, county police chief Mark Magaw, county sheriff Melvin Heigh and state Delegate Jolene Ivey.
She says the group will call on the House of Representatives to pass a version of the Violence Against Women Act.
