Md. Private School Official Charged With Sex Abuse
OLNEY, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County police are looking for a private school admissions director charged with sexually abusing a student.
Police announced Thursday that a current student at the Washington Christian Academy in Olney has reported being
inappropriately touched by Thomas Charles Wilson, 47.
Police say the student told detectives on Wednesday that the incidents occurred on school property between Jan. 1 and Tuesday.
Detectives have obtained a warrant charging Wilson with sexual abuse of a minor, two counts of third-degree sexual offense, and one count of fourth-degree sexual offense.
The academy says Wilson has served as admissions director since 2008.
Police are looking for Wilson, who is believed to be operating a gold 2003 Kia SUV, bearing Maryland tags 8062CC.
