Body Found In Somerset Co. Is Missing Woman's
PRINCESS ANNE, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police say a body in a rural area of Somerset County is that of a woman reported missing more than a week ago.
Troopers were called to 1300-block of Loretto Road in Princess Anne about 5 p.m. Sunday for a report of a body found. Authorities say members of a church in the area found the body in a wooded area.
Late Monday afternoon, troopers identified the body as that of Alice E. Davis, 55, of Eden. A cause of death has not been determined.
Jesse Davis, 58, reported his wife missing on Sept. 5. He was found dead of a self-inflicted injury in his home on Wednesday.
