Md. Police Arrest Man Accused Of Stabbing Teen
LA VALE, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police have arrested a Cumberland man wanted in the stabbing of a 15-year-old boy during a roadside a fight in LaVale.
Troopers called to a disturbance along National Highway early Friday found the teen stabbed in the back.
Investigators learned that a group of juveniles and young adults attended a party at an unoccupied house and after an altercation, the party broke up. Several juveniles who left the party encountered a man along National Highway and another fight started. Police say that the man, identified as 29-year-old Victor White of Cumberland, stabbed the teen during that altercation.
Authorities arrested White about 1:30 p.m. Friday at a home in LaVale. He has been charged with attempted second-degree murder and other offenses.
