Md. Muzzleloader Deer Season Reopens For 2 Weeks
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Maryland deer hunters who use muzzle-loading firearms have another two weeks to fill their tags.
The Department of Natural Resources says muzzleloader season reopens Saturday and continues through Jan. 4.
The early part of the season ran for three days in October. It was followed by bow hunting and the conventional firearm season.
Muzzleloaders accounted for about 18 percent of the deer taken by hunters in Maryland last season.
