Md. Man Guilty Of Murder In Shooting Of Texas Woman
UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) -- The State's Attorney's Office says a Suitland man has been convicted of second-degree murder in the shooting death of a Texas woman after a bar fight.
Adrian Lewis, 31, was found guilty Monday in the death of Cynthia Aaron, 32, of Houston. Sentencing is set for April 6.
Prosecutors say Lewis got into a fight with several patrons outside a bar in Suitland on April 10. After the fight, Lewis went home, got a 9MM handgun and returned to the bar parking lot. Prosecutors say Lewis yelled that he was going to kill everybody and started shooting into the crowd.
Aaron was killed instantly when she was shot once in the back of the head.
