Md. Man Gets 7 Years For Transporting Child Porn
BALTIMORE (AP) -- A Halethorpe man has been sentenced to 7 years in prison after being convicted of possessing, receiving and transporting child pornography.
Twenty-seven-year-old Alan Clifton was also ordered to register as a sex offender at sentencing Thursday in federal court in Baltimore.
According to evidence presented at his trial, Clifton used a file-sharing program to share images of child pornography. In October 2011, an undercover detective downloaded child pornography three videos from Clifton's files. After a search warrant was executed on his home, investigators found more than 3,000 files of child pornography on computers that were seized.
