Md. Man Gets 2 Life Terms In Kidnapping, Assault
BEL AIR, Md. (AP) -- A man who kidnapped a woman from a convenience store and sexually assaulted her has been sentenced to two consecutive life terms, plus 25 years without parole.
Prosecutors say Anthony Robinson, 46, of Jarrettsville was a registered sex offender and had previous convictions for rape and robbery. He was convicted in April of two third-degree sex offenses and kidnapping, and was sentenced Monday in Harford County Circuit Court.
Prosecutors say on July 11, Robinson kidnapped a woman from a convenience store in Aberdeen, took her to another location and sexually assaulted her. Robinson was arrested several days later.
Giving an impact statement in court, the victim said she still has nightmares.
