Man Enters Plea To Pizzeria Shooting
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- A Maryland man faces up to 30 years in prison for his role in a shooting at a Glen Burnie pizzeria two years ago.
Charles Sequan Butler, of Brooklyn Park, entered an Alford plea Monday to a charge of second-degree murder. An Alford plea means a defendant does not admit guilt but acknowledges there's evidence to be convicted.
Butler, 19, entered his plea as he and another teenager were to have stood trial in the November 2010 killing of Misael Flores during a botched robbery at Mr. Wings and Pizza. A third teenager pleaded guilty in January, and a fourth defendant is scheduled for trial in October.
