Man Convicted Of Using Hatchet To Kill Teen
TOWSON, Md. (AP) -- A Maryland man has been convicted of using a hatchet to kill an 18-year-old who was found murdered in 2011.
The State's Attorney's office for Baltimore County says Larry Eugene Horton, 38, of Halethorpe was found guilty Thursday of killing Ryan Jackson. The verdict by a jury came after a four-day trial.
Jackson's family reported him missing on Oct. 14. His body was found the next day in Baltimore.
Officials arrested Horton several days later in Bayou La Batre, Ala. Horton faces life in prison without the possibility of parole when he is sentenced April 29.
