Man Charged With Sexually Abusing Minor
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- A man charged with sexually abusing a girl over 10 years has been ordered held on $1 million bond.
A Washington County judge ordered the bond at a hearing Monday for Richard Lee Magaha, 42, of Boonsboro.
Magaha has been charged with sex abuse of a minor as a continuing course of conduct.
The Herald-Mail of Hagerstown reports that according to a statement of charges, the alleged victim, now a teenager, told a Child Protective Service investigator that Magaha had abused her since 2003 until last month.
According to the statement of charges, the girl said most of the alleged crimes took place at Magaha's house.
