Md. Man Charged With Setting Vacant House On Fire
NORTH EAST, Md. (AP) -- Fire officials say no motive has been established for a fire that was set in a vacant home, even though an arrest has been made.
The Cecil Whig reports that a Cecil County grand jury returned an indictment this month charging Jacob Constein, 23, with arson and malicious burning. Constein is being held on $150,000 bond after his arrest on Monday.
The two-story stucco house in North East was burned on Dec. 23, causing an estimated $70,000 in damage. No one was injured.
Deputy State Fire Marshal Bruce Bouch says no motive for setting the fire has been established.
